Tool bar
The Tool bar contains buttons for commonly used menu commands. Which buttons are available in the Tool bar will depend on whether you are searching, adding a new record, displaying records or editing a record (see Screen modes for details).
Tip:
If you place the cursor over a button in the Tool bar, a tool tip description of the button's action will display:

Save changes made to a record. |

Cancel changes made to a record / or cancel a new record before any changes are made to it. Note: If a new record has been added but no changes have been made, the Menu and tool tip labels will display as Cancel New Record ; if a new or existing record has been edited, the labels will display as Cancel Changes. |

|
Return to Search mode, retaining all search values previously entered in fields. |
|
|
Return to Search mode, clearing all search values previously entered in fields. |
|
|
Discard the current or selected records from the records returned by your search. Note: This does not delete the current or selected records. |

|
Sort records according to pre-defined sort criteria (the Sort box displays with a list of pre-defined Sorts and the option to create a new sort). |

Select a report from a list of pre-defined reports (the Reports box displays with a list of pre-defined Reports and the option to create a new Report). |

Check the spelling in the current record. |

Activate the What's this Help cursor and then select an object (field, button, label, etc.) in the module window. The Help displays about the object selected. |
